Yung Gravy Bronx Concert reviews
Good, but hard to understand
Yung Gravy is a very talented young woman who can run around the stage and play amazingly. The sound system at the Landmark Theatre made it hard to understand her at times. The music started to feel very repetitive despite her talent. She mentioned how her music has the same feeling throughout. The videos played during her performance were a nice touch. Personally, I did not enjoy the light show. The show ran for 3 1/2 hours with two opening acts. Olivia Somerlyn, the first opener, was not good at all, with muffled and hard-to-understand words. Karmin, on the other hand, was fantastic and entertaining. Amy's performance was easier to understand, but there were still times when her words were unclear due to the bad sound system. The seating at the Landmark Theatre was uncomfortable, with little legroom and a hot temperature. Both Karmin and Yung Gravy mentioned the heat during the show. If I were to see Yung Gravy again, it would not be in that theatre, hoping for better understanding.
